Founded in 1990, Itaprochim ’s main corporate purpose is to market high-quality, high-tech raw materials. These products are used in the friction materials, abrasives, and lubricants sectors, and the rubber and plastics industries.

The main objective was to provide customers with a wide range of raw materials and auxiliary goods from reliable and qualified sources, offering an efficient and financially beneficial service, thanks also to a warehouse in Milan, where the goods are stored ready to meet every imaginable customer requirement.

Experience gained over the years has enabled the company to provide solutions geared to customer requirements, notably in the friction materials sector, where Itaprochim is now a leading company on the Italian market and a constantly booming presence overseas.

Itaprochim began developing and manufacturing products using its own technology and under its own trademark in 1992. Examples include Sicacell® (calcium hydrosilicate and cellulose), Prochim® (a blend of abrasives), and Italub (a blend of lubricants).

Itaprochim has been certified according to UNI EN ISO 9000 Standards since 1998 and according to UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 since December 2009, so as to guarantee its customers a high-quality service and products, so as to guarantee its customers a high-quality service and products.

Itaprochim is working even closer with its customers to increase its know-how about product usage and, hence, further its experimentation into alternative materials.
